hi hello!! this is frog pond's official first public release after initial testing :)
here are some notes on it:

Bug fixes
- Fixed decor loading bug
Frogs
- Tala's spawn time is now Evening instead of Midnight
- Sir Frog's spawn time now includes Evening
- All frog spawn requirements can now be seen in the Frog Journal window when an unknown frog is hovered over
- Frog info button design has been updated
UI
- Added help window; this appears automatically when you open the game for the first time
- Rearranged main buttons, the Decor window and Frog Journal can now be found in the main UI
- Added shiny stone counter (can be disabled in settings)
- Resized Decor window UI to be larger and more readable
- Pond drag icon now has a larger bounding box
- Empty flower spot indicator was changed from yellow to red
- Confirmation prompt for flower placement has been removed
- Corrected anti-aliasing
Sounds
- All volume sliders now start at 0.5 on a new game
- Manok ambience is now louder
- Frog entrance/exit noises are now under "Frog" sounds instead of "SFX"
- Frogs now say hi/bye upon entrance/exit
Known Issues
- No multi-screen support (currently, display can only be changed via Win + Shift + arrow keys)
- Always on top breaks every time the window is moved to a different display (have not re-checked this yet)
- Volume slider handles do not drag properly when they're set to 0
Future updates
some stuff i'm actively working on for the next update!
- UI overhaul (current UI is Unity's default)
- Pond resizing
- Multi-screen support
- Different purchasable flower types
- Additional Frog Journal features:
- Frog visit counter
- Frog photo album (4 photos for each slot)
- Frog Profile completion (a "complete" stamp will be given if you collect all photos of the frog)
- Additional frogs
- Frog-specific croaks, stone generation rates

I cannot put the Frogs on my Second monitor, if i move the pond to my second monitor it just dissapears, if i start the exe on my second monitor it also starts on my main monitor, please give us an option to start it on the monitor we want.

Hey, There's a problem with monitor resolutions that makes it nearly impossible to read the text. My monitor resolution is 1377x768 and with no way to change the font size, I struggled but I managed to get all the frogs. Can you please add a font size slider?

Thank you so much for making this! I have it turned on non-stop. Even when I go for a nap, I just turn frog sounds off and doze off with those cute birds singing ;-;
no promises, but im definitely look into & put the effort into trying to make it happen!
This is so perfect and cozy :D. I need more froggies >:). Please make it so more frogs spawn on screen more. or make it a setting because i know it will be distracting when frogs spawn every minute thank you (i play this with titan fall 2 they go suprisingly when together <3 )

I loooooooove this so much! <3 Honestly one of the highlights of my day is going over to my little froggy pond to click on the lil guys and they go "ooh ah" and I just know everything is okay ;-;
I have noticed a lil bug if you're interested! My flower pot decoration that I placed when I first began the game keeps disappearing leaving the arrow with the circle in its place. And I get no froggies during that time. I go to re-place the flower pot and it stays for about an hour or so and froggies do come during that time but then it disappears again and the red circle reappears and no froggies.
Thanks again for putting in so much work to make this for everyone! I love it so much <3 Happy creating!
the flower disappearing after an hour is actually just part of the game :) u can see in the help section of the menu hope this helps!
as a game dev myself, i love this programmer side of shar, please make more devlogs and things like this it’s awesome
aww thank you so much, it means a lot to me!!! 💗 always kind of nerve-wracking to share stuff i make, but it's also always exciting, and i love seeing people enjoy what i create!! more funky stuff in the future hopefully HAHA

Its been a week and the frogs are still tiny and i cannot start them on my second monitor, where is the update :sad:
u can now make them big, update here!! i'm a bit late bc i was out of town and our flight got delayed by a day 😭 thank you for the patience!!! 🔥
i'm wondering if there's a specific place save data is stored.... i restarted my computer and all my progress got reset for some reason :(
yes! as a temp measure you can copy all .save files in AppData > Local > shar > Frog Pond (im out of town atm so i cant double check if it was appdata local or appdata roaming but ill edit this reply once i get back!)
planning to implement an improved save/load feature with the option of manual saving somewhere along the line
incredible little frogs. so excited to meet more friends (and perhaps eventually receive the ability to move these friends to my second monitor sometime in the future? ^^;). thanks a bunch for sharing this with us.
I was able to move it to my second monitor by focusing the game and pressing Windows+Shift+[Arrow key in the direction of your monitor] ^^

Omg this is so freaking cute!!! I like that when a frog shows up it makes a noise!! I wish that they made little noises every now and then when they are sittin there too
Will there be a possibility to change the size of the whole pond. I find it kind of small on my desktop. :)
A resolution doubler or any option to increase size would be amazing. I run this as a background app on my school TV and its tiiiinnyyy.

Love this a ton! Would adore if more of the items in had some kind of noise to them (crackling fireplace, purring cat, etc) :)
Wanted to let you know of a bug I've experienced: Froggert is perpetually stuck on the left lilypad. Even if the food runs out, decor changes, etc - he stays. I don't mind having a little forever buddy but I doubt it's an intentional feature.
One feature I would love to see is an option to control the volume of each sound-producing decor item individually.
Also, I really hope more frogs will be added at some point (so that there are more incentives to mix up your decor). I love them. Thanks for the frogs, shar <3
This would be nice. All the background sounds are fine except for the arcade machine, that sucker is loud!
